1. Data Controller

2. Data Collected and How We Use It

Through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional) and the content of your message.

We use this data to handle and respond to enquiries, based on:

• Our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and business-related communications (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
• Taking steps prior to entering into a contract, where requested by the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

Providing this information is voluntary. However, your name, email address and message are required to submit the form. Providing your company name is optional.

The server may also record technical data, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, requested resources and browser type, to ensure the website’s security and proper functioning. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

We do not use personal data for marketing purposes or make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

3. Service Providers and International Data Transfers

To handle contact form submissions, we use Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative, and Microsoft Exchange to receive and manage messages by email.

Web3Forms uses infrastructure and security providers, including Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, as well as spam-prevention services such as CleanTalk and Akismet. These spam-prevention services may receive the IP address and email address associated with a submission.

Some of this processing may involve transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including to India and the United States.

Transfers carried out through Web3Forms are covered by the safeguards set out in its Data Processing Agreement, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914).

4. Data Retention

Messages received by email are retained for as long as necessary to respond to enquiries, for a maximum of 12 months after the last contact, unless a contractual relationship or legal obligation requires longer retention.

Submissions stored by Web3Forms are deleted in accordance with the form’s configured 30-day retention period.

Technical server logs are retained only for as long as necessary to detect and investigate technical issues or security incidents.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing and data portability, where applicable. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise your rights, please contact geral@opixpro.com. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, subject to any extension permitted under the GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

This website does not use cookies for traffic analytics or advertising.

Your browser stores only information used to support certain website functions, including your language preference, your scroll position when changing languages and the time of your last form submission, to prevent duplicate submissions.

This information is not used to identify visitors or track their activity for advertising purposes.
